Radiologic Technology

Become an important member of the health care team as a radiologic technologist. Radiologic technologists, or radiographers, are responsible for obtaining high quality images that are critical to the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Through the Radiologic Technology program at Western Suffolk BOCES, you will receive full training in modern diagnostic radiography.

Students receive instruction in fully equipped classrooms and laboratories at our Northport Campus by our highly trained and experienced faculty. Hands-on clinical training takes place at medical centers, hospitals and outpatient imaging centers.

Use your new skills to enter into the world of radiology, and then advance your career into CT Scanning, MRI, Mammography or Interventional Radiology.
